DWM-222W rev.B Firmware Update Notes

Do not unplug the DWM-222W or turn off your computer during the update. Interrupting the update may damage the device. If you’re using a laptop, keep it plugged into power.

Before you start

Plug the DWM-222W into your computer.
Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.125.1
Log in with the username admin and your password. The default password is admin unless you changed it during setup.
Check your current firmware version under Dashboard > Software Information.
Go to Router > Software Upgrade.

Option 1: Online update (FOTA), recommended

If an online update is available, click Upgrade.
Wait for the update to finish. The device will restart automatically. 


Option 2: Manual update (Local Upgrade)

Download the correct firmware file from https://support.dlink.com.au/DWM-222W

Current version 1.00.09: use DWM-222W-B1-Firmware_1.00.09_to_1.02.04.bin
Current version 1.01.00: use DWM-222W-B1-Firmware_1.01.00_to_1.02.04.bin

Under Local Upgrade, select the file and click Upgrade.
Wait for the update to finish and the device to restart.
