Question #4: What comes with the DI-701?
The DI-701 comes with everything you need to set it up and install it on your network. The following is a list of items included in the box:
- DI-701 iShare Router
- Power adapter
- DI-701 iShare Router Setup Program Floppy Disk
- User Guide
- Category 5 Cross-Over Cable
- RS-232 serial cable
- Two anchors and two screws
No additional items are needed to attach the DI-701 to your computer. The DI-701 has one port for connection to your computer.
Additional items are needed to connect to additional computers. The DI-701 supports up to 32 network connections. You will need an Ethernet or Fast Ethernet hub or switch to connect to more than one computer. The User Guide explains multiple connections.
