Question #4:  Why won't my FTP Client work with my DI-701?

Make sure your FTP client software is set to passive. For security reasons the DI-701 does not deal with an active FTP client. An active FTP client can allow a hacker masquerading as an FTP server to gain access to your computer. Please contact your FTP client software manufacturer to determine how to configure the client for passive rather than active.
